Education Environments

Our educators believe that play is an integral part of children’s learning. At Kennedy Kids children are provided with individual learning experiences that are based on their developmental needs, and opportunities to learn and explore their world in both small and large group experiences.
We believe that our centre is an extension of the family unit; therefore, it’s our role to support the parents and family members of the children who are in our care. We encourage family involvement within our centre and endeavour to work alongside them in assisting all children to reach their full potential.

We fully recognise the importance of communication and collaboration between families and educators. In order to achieve the above we must form positive relationships and strong partnerships between children, parents, staff, management, and the wider community. To this end we encourage all facets to be active participators in the centre’s philosophy, policies, and procedures.
Our educators design dynamic and inspiring programs to suit all children. Our programs are based on the knowledge that every child is unique, are at individual development levels and that children learn at their own pace and in their own way.

We believe there are five core elements that make up the perfect early learning experience for young minds to be ready to learn:

Whether your child is six weeks old or transitioning to school, every second of the day they are continuously learning more about the world they live in. Our play-based early learning curriculum focuses on allowing children to ‘learn in action’. Play-based learning encourages children to use their imagination – the best way to learn is through exploration -drawing, digging, splashing, creating, role-playing, singing, crafting and so much more.
